Gov. Murphy appointed Tim Sullivan as the new head of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, as first reported in ROI-NJ. Sullivan comes from the economically struggling state of Connecticut, where he serves as the deputy commissioner of the state’s Department of Economic and Community Development. Sullivan, who is originally from Bergen County, is expected to focus on small business start-ups, particularly in the technology sector.
