On February 28th, 2023, Governor Phil Murphy presented his Fiscal Year 2024 budget to the state legislature. The $53.1 billion budget represents a 50% increase since he took office.
About Our Guest:
Joining Regina to discuss the Governor’s presentation, and offering an alternate perspective on what should be New Jersey’s budget priorities is Sen. Declan O’Scanlon, the Republican Budget Officer.
Senator O’Scanlon has represented Monmouth County’s 13th district in the Senate since 2018. He previously served five terms in the Assembly.
A native of Marlboro, he currently resides in Little Silver, where he served on the town council. He graduated with dual bachelor’s degrees from Monmouth University and is the chief executive officer of FSD Enterprises of Red Bank. The company is a wireless telecommunications consulting and public relations firm he founded in 1995.
