September ‘23 Jobs Report

Garden State Initiative’s president, Regina M. Egea, issued the following statement on the September ‘23 Jobs Report:

“Today’s report forecasts economic storm clouds gathering over New Jersey in the months ahead,” said GSI President Regina Egea. “Unemployment is up, job growth is sluggish, and the labor force is shrinking. With such ominous news and the entire state legislature up for election in less than three weeks, it’s clear that economic and fiscal issues should be front and center on voters’ minds when they head to the polls.”
