Most New Jersey residents say they pay too much in taxes and are unsatisfied by Trenton’s efforts to make the state more affordable, according to a poll released Wednesday morning.

The Rutgers-Eagleton poll, conducted in collaboration with the New Jersey Business and Industry Association, found that most believe their taxes are unfair, with 79 percent complaining about property taxes, 77 percent about the gas tax and 62 percent about income taxes.
